Description : I took this shot during my trip to Mexico, between November 2022 and November 2023, when I was visiting my friend in the state of Oaxaca, in Puerto Escondido. He took me to a marvelous beach, Playa Bacocho, where the Ocean was oftentimes gifting the shore with amazing driftwood, sometimes even trunks. That’s how I encountered this beautiful and mysterious piece of wood, the remnants of a massive tree who decided to take on the ocean on his path to the afterlife, to finally gift us its wisdom amongst the marvelous rocks, carefully sculpted by the wind and the water. This wood carries and emanates the fantastic power of the Pacific Ocean, reminding me of both its Peace and Untameableness.
