Title : Peace in the Turmoil

Description : I took this shot during my one year trip to Mexico between 2022 and 2023. At that time, I was on my friend’s homestead near Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, in the tropical forest. A luxuriant sanctuary where a refreshing river runs. I came to visit this river almost everyday during my two months stay on his land, after exhausting and rewarding working sessions, honoring the Earth with our energy, sweat and blood. This river is very special to me as it provided us with freshness everytime we came to visit it. It was also an amazing playground for me and my camera, capturing fantastic shots while walking up the stream. On this particular day, the light was really special and I wanted to capture beautiful chiaroscuro shades. When I later edited this picture with symmetry, the power emanating from it impressed me. I can see plenty of Nature’s Spirits showing up in this artwork. It inspires me vibrations of Peace within Chaos.
