Description : I took this shot during my one year trip to Mexico between 2022 and 2023. At that time, I was on my friend’s land near Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. His homestead is an awesome natural sanctuary where I spent two amazing months soothing my body, mind and soul. It also was a fantastic playground for me to take pictures. These beautiful emerald-colored rocks covered by lianas were near the river that runs on his land. I am always fascinated by the way Nature designs the landscapes. When I later edited this picture with symmetry, I felt like looking at an Emerald Totem, as if the rocks were looking at me.
