“Condor” – Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico – July 2023

Story : I took this shot during my one year trip to Mexico, between 2022 and 2023. At that time, I was visiting a friend in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. He took me to a fantastic beach called Playa Bacocho. It was a fantastic playground for me. This beach was full of amazing rocks, sculpted carefully and beautifully by the elements and Time itself. These smooth and round shapes deeply inspired me. I enjoyed a lot exploring every side and angle to take some shots. My inner child is always stoked to climb and explore these rock formations, to discover hidden puddles full of marvels or holes filled with treasures. The rock on this particular picture mesmerized me. Those layers of sediments, witnesses of old times, carry an extraordinary energy. It feels like looking at Time itself and I think this artwork is a fitting tribute to it.
